Russian forces attack Zaporizhzhia, injuring two patrol police officers
Russian forces carried out another strike on Zaporizhzhia on March 12, injuring two law enforcement officers.
The incident was reported by Ivan Fedorov, head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, on his Telegram channel.
According to him, two patrol police officers aged 37 and 39 sustained shrapnel wounds during the enemy attack on the regional center. The officers were on duty at the time of the strike, carrying out their law-enforcement responsibilities.
Medics currently assess the condition of the injured officers as stable. Doctors quickly provided the necessary medical assistance, and there is no threat to their lives.
“The condition of the patrol officers is stable, and doctors are providing the necessary care,” the regional administration chief said.
Emergency and investigative services are continuing their work at the scene, documenting the consequences of the strike and collecting evidence of another alleged war crime by Russian forces.
Local authorities urged residents to remain vigilant and not ignore air-raid alerts, as the risk of repeated attacks remains high.
Earlier, Russian strikes on energy infrastructure in Sumy region left some districts without electricity.
Russian forces also attacked an evacuation vehicle with FPV drones in Zaporizhzhia region.
