Russian forces attack Mykolaiv region with drones
Over the past 24 hours, Russian troops carried out a series of intensive attacks on the Mykolaiv and Pervomaisk districts of Mykolaiv region. The invaders used multiple launch rocket systems and kamikaze drones, causing damage to civilian infrastructure.
The head of the Mykolaiv Regional State Administration, Vitaliy Kim, reported that yesterday Russian forces attacked the Ochakiv community with an FPV drone.
In addition, this morning the enemy shelled the Kutsurub community with MLRS, terrorising the local population.
Fortunately, according to preliminary information, no civilians were injured in these attacks. However, damage was recorded in the private sector, where explosions destroyed outbuildings and residential homes.
During the night, the Pervomaisk district was also targeted by Russian Shahed 131/136 drones. Thanks to the successful work of air defence systems, only the falling debris caused damage, including to an overhead power line.
As a result of the damage to the network, some settlements in the district were temporarily left without electricity. Repair crews have already begun restoration work.
It should be recalled that Russian forces previously attacked a residential building in Kostiantynivka with a drone, injuring one person.
Russian drones also struck the Sumy region, where two people were killed.
