A Russian drone destroyed a residential building in Kupiansk district, leaving one person dead and another injured
On the night of 27 February, Russian occupation forces carried out another attack on the Kupiansk district, using strike drones against civilians.
This was reported by the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, which emphasised the severe consequences of the enemy strike.
As a result of a direct drone hit, one private residential house was completely destroyed. Rescuers who arrived at the scene began clearing the debris of the ruined building.
“Rescuers recovered the body of a deceased man from under the rubble,” the agency stated.
In addition, a woman was injured and is currently receiving the necessary medical assistance.
Emergency and rescue operations are ongoing at the impact site, with specialists inspecting the area for other possible victims.
Kupiansk district remains one of the most dangerous areas due to constant shelling by the Russian army. Occupying forces deliberately use drones and artillery to terrorise the civilian population, destroying infrastructure and private homes.
Earlier, Russian forces attacked a residential area in Vinnytsia region, damaging dozens of houses.
They also struck 36 settlements in Sumy region.
