Fire Point has announced a ballistic strike against Russia in the coming weeks
The Ukrainian FP-7 ballistic missile may soon be deployed against the occupiers, and its combat testing is set to begin within the next few weeks.
This was announced on September 10 by Iryna Terekh, CEO of Fire Point, during the MSPO 2026 defense exhibition in Poland. According to her, the missile has already passed two of the three required testing phases, and the final phase of military testing will be conducted directly in combat conditions due to a lack of safe space for full-scale tests in Ukraine.
The FP-7, based on the Soviet 48N6 anti-aircraft missile from the S-400 system, has a range of up to 200 kilometers with a warhead weighing 150 kilograms. It is capable of climbing to an altitude of up to 65 kilometers and reaching speeds of up to 5,400 kilometers per hour. At the same time, the company is conducting flight tests of another of its designs—the FP-9 missile.

Fire Point is working on developing its own engine for the FP-5 Flamingo missile.
