Attacks reported on port terminals and oil storage in Russia’s Krasnodar Krai

For the second day in a row, authorities in Krasnodar Krai reported strikes on infrastructure, this time targeting port facilities in the Temryuksky District. Local officials say a fire broke out at the terminals and there are casualties among workers.

According to Krasnodar Krai Governor Veniamin Kondratyev, the attacks in the settlement of Volna (also reported as “Khvilya”) damaged port terminals. He stated that preliminary reports indicate two workers were killed and several others injured. The fire reportedly engulfed four oil storage tanks on the terminal grounds.

To manage the emergency, 97 personnel and 29 units of equipment were deployed. Russian media later reported that at least one tank fire was extinguished. Details on the overall damage to port infrastructure have not been disclosed.

This comes after Ukrainian forces previously targeted a refined oil terminal at an oil refinery and a warehouse of enemy drones.

Separately, in the village of Novaya Adygeya near Krasnodar, UAV strikes reportedly set an apartment building and a parking lot with cars on fire, according to Adygea Republic Head Murat Kumpilov.
