Fire breaks out near oil refinery in Saratov, smoke rises over city
A fire has been reported near a local oil refinery in the Russian city of Saratov.
Information about the blaze appeared in local online communities and on social media.
Videos and photos published online show thick black smoke rising over the city’s industrial zone.
The cause of the fire remains unknown. No official comments have yet been issued by Russian emergency services or authorities regarding the incident.
On the night of 24 December, Ukraine’s Defence Forces carried out a series of successful strikes on strategic enemy targets on Russian territory and in temporarily occupied areas.
Drone operators of the 81st Separate Slobozhanska Airmobile Brigade also successfully destroyed a Russian infantry fighting vehicle along with its landing force near Serebrianka
