Russian Forces strike medical facility in Kherson, injuries reported
On the morning of January 28, Russian troops shelled a medical facility in the Dniprovskiy district of Kherson, the Kherson Regional Military Administration reported.
Preliminary information indicates that two medical workers were injured, suffering concussions, and are currently under medical supervision.
On the same morning, Russian artillery targeted central Kherson, hitting a sidewalk and damaging the facade of a building.
Over the past 24 hours, four settlements — including Kherson, Antonivka, Prydniprovsk, and Sadove — came under fire. The attacks resulted in one death and three injuries. The situation in Kherson community remains extremely tense and requires attention from local and international organizations.
This incident follows a nighttime attack on the port of Pivdennyi in Odesa Oblast, which caused damage to logistics infrastructure but no casualties.
Russia has also struck five districts of Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, as well as Kyiv, Zaporizhzhia, Odesa, and Kryvyi Rih.
