King Charles III denied Prince Harry's request to live at Buckingham Palace

King Charles III denied Prince Harry's request to live at Buckingham Palace

King Charles III of Great Britain denied his younger son, Prince Harry, the opportunity to stay at Buckingham Palace during his visit to London on July 6. According to British media reports, the reason was a delay in responding to a previous invitation and the Duke of Sussex’s repeated changes of plans.

According to The Telegraph, Buckingham Palace initially offered Prince Harry the opportunity to stay at the royal residence during his trip to the United Kingdom. However, the Duke of Sussex did not respond to the invitation by the deadline and later declined the offer altogether.

Subsequently, Prince Harry changed his mind and asked to be allowed to stay at Buckingham Palace after all. However, by that time, the palace had already declined, leaving his request unfulfilled.

On the eve of the visit, Prince Harry’s representatives reported that he would be staying at Buckingham Palace during his trip to the United Kingdom, which was his first in a long time. At the same time, the palace denied this information, stating that it was untrue. As a result, the Duke of Sussex had to find another place to stay in London.

According to sources close to the royal family, Buckingham Palace was dissatisfied that Prince Harry had changed his plans several times, and his delay in responding to the invitation was perceived as a sign of disrespect.

The publication’s sources also claim that King Charles III “lost patience” due to his son’s indecision. At the same time, Prince Harry himself, according to sources, was outraged by the rejection and suggested that the initial offer to live at Buckingham Palace might not have been sincere.

This was reported by The Telegraph.

As a reminder, Prince William has officially become one of the wealthiest members of the British royal family. His net worth already exceeds $1.6 billion, which is nearly twice that of King Charles III.
