Consumers in four regions are without electricity
Due to hostilities and enemy shelling of energy infrastructure on June 24, some residents in the Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia, Sumy, and Kharkiv regions were temporarily left without power.
In addition to military damage, the situation in the power grid was exacerbated by weather conditions, which led to emergency power outages in the central and northern regions.
The press service of the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine reported that specialists from relevant agencies are already working to address the consequences of these emergencies.
Energy workers have switched to an enhanced duty schedule to quickly restore power to Ukrainian homes. Repair work on sections damaged by military operations is continuing around the clock, despite high safety risks for personnel.
Additionally, due to strong winds and severe weather, another 20 settlements in the Kirovohrad and Sumy regions remain without power.
Special emergency crews from the regional power companies have mobilized all necessary equipment to restore stable operation of the damaged power lines.
Despite localized power outages caused by attacks and accidents, the overall situation in the country’s power grid remains under control.
The Ministry of Energy noted that as of June 24, no planned restrictions or rolling blackouts are expected for the public.
Power generation fully covers current consumer demand, and citizens are urged to check for any local changes exclusively on the official websites of their regional power companies.
At the same time, government officials note that the summer of 2026 in Ukraine will be marked by energy balancing.
This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine.
