Drones attack energy facility in Odesa, fires broke out

On the night of December 10, Russian forces carried out a strike with attack drones on an energy facility in Odesa region.

According to Oleh Kiper, head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration, the enemy’s primary goal was to destroy critical infrastructure, including civilian, energy, and transport facilities.

“Odesa region experienced another enemy drone strike during the night, aimed at destroying the region’s civilian, energy, and transport infrastructure,” Kiper said.

Most aerial targets were intercepted by air defense, but the energy facility sustained damage. Two nearby private homes were also affected, and windows and doors of an administrative building were broken. The fires that broke out were promptly extinguished by emergency services. No casualties have been reported.

According to the State Emergency Service, firefighting efforts involved a fire train from Ukrzaliznytsia, over 50 firefighters, and 13 pieces of equipment.

Odesa has been under regular attacks by Russian forces, especially over the past week. These strikes continue to impact civilians and infrastructure, and local emergency responders are constantly engaged in mitigation efforts.

Earlier, Russian forces shelled and attacked with drones Nikopol, Kryvyi Rih, and Synelnykove areas in Dnipropetrovsk, damaging private homes, gas pipelines, and farm buildings.

On the night of December 10–11, Kremenchuk was hit by ballistic missiles and drones.

On December 9, Russian forces struck a fire station in Zaporizhzhia area with an attack drone, damaging the building, windows, doors, and roof.

That same night, Russian troops carried out a series of attacks across three areas in Dnipropetrovsk.
