Morning attack in Rivne region leaves more than 10,000 households without electricity
An air raid alert was sounded in the Rivne region on the morning of 20 January.
This was reported by the Head of the Rivne Regional Military Administration, Oleksandr Koval, on his Telegram channel, according to Suspilne.
During the latest attack, critical infrastructure facilities were damaged, leaving more than 10,000 consumers without electricity in various districts of the region.
According to Oleksandr Koval, the strikes shattered windows in residential buildings in several settlements. Cars parked nearby were also damaged, with some sustaining significant mechanical damage.
The authorities are clarifying the extent of the destruction and determining the scope of restoration work.
Preliminary reports indicate that no civilians were injured in the attack.
Municipal and emergency services across the region are working at the sites, inspecting damaged facilities, eliminating the consequences of blast waves, and assisting residents in restoring normal living conditions.
Power engineers have already begun restoring electricity supply in the affected communities.
It is worth recalling that the enemy struck the Odesa region, damaging residential buildings and energy facilities.
In addition, a Russian attack damaged 12 houses in Zaporizhzhia.
