Photos show the aftermath of the attack on Fastiv in Kyiv region
Last night, on December 6, Russian forces attacked the Kyiv region, including Fastiv. Rescuers have released photos showing the aftermath of the enemy strike.
This was reported by the State Emergency Service of Ukraine (SES).
According to the SES, throughout the night the Fastiv, Vyshhorod and Bucha districts came under heavy Russian shelling. Three people were injured.
In Fastiv, fires broke out and destruction occurred on the territory of the railway station and the motor-car depot.
In the village of Novi Petrivtsi, debris from a drone caused a fire in a warehouse building covering 5,500 square meters.
In the same settlement, three trucks caught fire, one residential building was destroyed, and six more houses were damaged.
In the village of Nezhylovychi in the Bucha district, a fire broke out and a private building was destroyed.
Emergency crews continue working to eliminate the consequences of the attack.
During the combined strike, explosions were heard in Kyiv. Local authorities reported air defense activity, while the Air Force confirmed the flight of "Kinzhal" missiles and ballistic missiles toward the capital.
Strikes were also recorded in Fastiv. According to Ukrzaliznytsia, railway infrastructure came under attack, and as a result, passenger train routes that were supposed to pass through Fastiv are being adjusted.
Three people were injured in Kyiv region as a result of the massive drone and missile attack.
