Russian drone attack hits civilian infrastructure in Sumy region, children injured
A Russian drone targeted civilian infrastructure in the Sumy community, resulting in injuries to children.
This was reported on Telegram by the head of the Sumy Regional Military Administration, Oleh Hryhorov.
According to the report, the enemy drone struck a private house in the Velykochernychi Starostvo area. As a result, a 12-year-old girl was injured, and an 8-year-old child suffered an acute stress reaction.
“Medical personnel are providing the children with the necessary care and hospitalizing them for further examination,” the report states.
Earlier during the night, Russian forces also attacked energy infrastructure in the Izmail district of Odesa region, leaving several communities without electricity.
Russians also attacked Dnipropetrovsk and Zaporizhzhia, injuring a child.
Russia has targeted energy infrastructure in eight regions of Ukraine.
