A restaurant in Kharkiv was attacked by a Shahed drone, leaving one person injured

On the morning of 26 March, Russian occupying forces carried out another attack on Kharkiv, using Shahed-type unmanned aerial vehicles.

As a result of the explosion in the Slobidskyi district of the city, civilian infrastructure was damaged and at least one person was injured.

According to the Mayor of Kharkiv, Ihor Terekhov, the strike hit a densely populated residential area.

One of the enemy drones struck the ground in close proximity to residential buildings and a local restaurant.

The blast wave damaged nearby apartment blocks, shattering a large number of windows.

In addition, residents’ vehicles sustained significant mechanical damage — currently, around 10 cars are reported to have been affected.

Initial reports suggested a direct hit on the restaurant building; however, this information was later clarified.

The mayor stated: “The drone struck the ground near residential buildings and a restaurant. At present, one injured person has been confirmed.”

Emergency services, law enforcement, and medical teams promptly began work at the scene. Specialists are inspecting the area to assess all damage and provide assistance to those affected.

It should be recalled that Russian forces also attacked energy facilities in Slavutych, leaving the entire city without power.

Additionally, Russian troops carried out another combined attack on Ukraine, using strike drones and cruise missiles.
