Woman injured after airstrikes on Kramatorsk
Russian forces carried out several airstrikes on Kramatorsk in Donetsk region. As a result of the attack, a woman was injured, and dozens of apartment buildings and civilian facilities were damaged. Local authorities report significant destruction and urge residents not to ignore air raid alerts. This was reported by the city’s mayor, Oleksandr Honcharenko.
According to him, a total of four airstrikes were recorded. Explosions were heard in different districts of the city. “Kramatorsk suffered four airstrikes,” the mayor said. Residential buildings, civilian infrastructure facilities, and cars were damaged. Significant destruction was recorded in several areas of the city. According to preliminary information, a woman born in 1959 was injured. She is receiving medical assistance.
The strike also damaged dozens of multi-story apartment buildings. Two educational institutions, a cultural facility, as well as shops and shopping centers were damaged. City authorities report that part of the city was left without electricity and communications due to the shelling after power lines were damaged.
Utility services and rescuers are working at the strike sites. They are inspecting damaged buildings, assisting residents, and assessing the scale of the destruction. Local authorities urge residents to remain cautious, as the threat of new attacks persists. “We ask residents not to ignore air raid alerts and to stay in shelters,” the military administration emphasized.
Kramatorsk regularly comes under attack by Russian forces. The city remains one of the key centers of Donetsk region, which is why the Russian army frequently targets it with missiles, drones, and aerial bombs.
In addition, Russian forces shelled Chernihiv region, destroying a grain storage facility.
On the morning of March 11, Russian occupation troops also struck the Shevchenkivskyi District, Kharkiv of Kharkivusing a strike drone.
Earlier, Russian drones attacked an industrial facility in Poltava region. Russian forces also targeted energy infrastructure in Sumy region, leaving parts of the region without electricity.
