Russia lost 820 invaders in the war in Ukraine over the past 24 hours

Total combat losses of Russian forces in the war against Ukraine from February 24, 2022, to April 14, 2026, amount to approximately 1,312,960 personnel. Over the past 24 hours alone, the Ukrainian Armed Forces eliminated another 820 invaders.

This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook.

According to updated data, the Russian army has also suffered significant losses in equipment:

  • tanks — 11,863 (+2 in the past 24 hours);
  • armored combat vehicles — 24,389 (+3);
  • artillery systems — 39,953 (+38);
  • multiple launch rocket systems — 1,732 (+4);
  • air defense systems — 1,346 (+0);
  • aircraft — 435 (+0);
  • helicopters — 350 (+0);
  • tactical-level unmanned aerial vehicles — 237,853 (+2,459);
  • cruise missiles — 4,517 (+0);
  • ships and boats — 33 (+0);
  • submarines — 2 (+0);
  • vehicles and tankers — 89,300 (+201);
  • special equipment — 4,123 (+0).

The General Staff notes that these figures are approximate and continue to be refined.

104 combat engagements were recorded along the front line. The most intense fighting is taking place in the Pokrovsk direction, where Russian troops carried out 20 attacks on the positions of the Defense Forces. Enemy casualties are also reported—over 70 soldiers.

It should be noted that since the creation of this new branch of the military, Ukrainian unmanned systems units have demonstrated exceptional effectiveness, putting tens of thousands of enemy weapons out of commission.

On April 12, Russian troops violated the ceasefire by using drones to kill three unarmed fighters who turned out to be their own captured comrades.

The Office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine has opened a criminal investigation into yet another war crime committed by Russian servicemen. According to the investigation, near the village of Veterinarne in the Kharkiv region, the invaders cynically killed four Ukrainian prisoners of war.
