From Automating Car Repair Shops to Scaling Up in the U.S.: The Story of Oleksandr Moskalchuk’s AI Platform, SynqRail
Ukraine’s automotive market remains large and dynamic. According to data from the Main Service Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, more than 2.19 million vehicle registration transactions were processed in the country throughout 2025. These included more than 158,000 new cars and other vehicles registered in Ukraine for the first time, and more than 316,000 used vehicles imported from abroad.
The sheer scale of the automotive market places a corresponding burden on the service sector. A modern auto service center must simultaneously coordinate diagnostics, spare parts supply, technician scheduling, customer communication, and financial transactions. Any disruption in this chain increases repair time, causes downtime, and directly impacts the business’s bottom line.
Oleksandr Moskalchuk, founder of the SynqRail platform, has been working on this problem since 2022. The solution developed by his team consolidates all repair data into a single system: customer requests, photos of damage, parts orders, staff assignments, and payments. But the main value lies not in the fact that the system stores everything, but in the fact that it understands the process. If a parts order is delayed, approval isn’t received on time, or a job remains unpaid—the platform automatically detects the issue and suggests next steps.
“The efficiency of a car service center is determined not only by the speed of repairs but also by the precision of coordinating the entire process. Artificial intelligence makes it possible to identify critical delays before they turn into financial losses,” explains Moskalchuk.

The Ukrainian market served as the first testing ground. The pilot implementation of SynqRail took place at Car-service—a company with many years of experience in the automotive service industry. Subsequently, private auto repair shops also began using the system. This approach made it possible to test the platform not only in a test environment but directly within the real-world workflows of businesses of various sizes and to refine it in line with practical business needs.
SynqRail’s technological model is based on Moskalchuk’s own research on the digital transformation of auto service. In his work, he described the principle of a unified information core, where data on the customer, the vehicle, repairs, and finances form a single, interconnected stream. Later, this approach was supplemented with machine learning, which enabled the system not only to respond to problems but also to predict workloads in advance.
The development was recognized at the national level. At the end of 2024, Moskalchuk received the “Achievement of the Year” Award for implementing the AI platform, and in 2025, he was awarded the “Leader of Ukraine” Order for his contribution to the industry’s digital transformation. Today, Oleksandr is expanding SynqRail in the U.S., with a development center in Los Angeles. Since August 2025, the platform has been fully implemented and used by American companies across various sectors, including Nizo Luxury, Zip Auto, Romcar, Trumi Collision Center, and others. At the same time, the Ukrainian market remains an important part of SynqRail’s development—it was in Ukraine that the system underwent its first practical implementations and proved its effectiveness in the real-world conditions of the auto service business.
“We’ve already passed the stage where we had to prove whether artificial intelligence can bring real benefits to auto service centers. Now the task is different—to improve and scale this approach,” concludes the founder of SynqRail.
