The Ukrainian Armed Forces struck ammunition depots and military equipment deep inside Russian territory
Overnight, Ukrainian defense forces struck ammunition depots, fuel storage facilities, and other infrastructure belonging to the occupiers in the occupied territories and behind Russian lines. The attacks destroyed targets in the Bryansk and Rostov regions, as well as in the occupied territories of Ukraine.
This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Strikes were carried out on three ammunition depots in Maryanivka, Lisne, and Aidar, as well as on a fuel and lubricants depot. Near Klimovo in the Bryansk region, an area where weapons and equipment were concentrated was struck, and a logistics depot was destroyed in the Rostov region.
In addition, the General Staff confirmed the results of the attack on the Syzran oil refinery in the Samara region of the Russian Federation, which took place on April 17. Damage was recorded to the primary oil processing unit, a storage tank, and a process pipeline. In the Zaporizhzhia region, near Novopavlivka, the Defense Forces destroyed the command post of an occupying unit.

In the Russian city of Tuapse, Krasnodar Krai, explosions were heard on the night of April 16 amid a drone attack. The strikes may have hit tanks at the Tuapse oil refinery, which belongs to Rosneft.
On the morning of April 15, Ukrainian “Lyuty” strike drones attacked a petrochemical plant in the city of Sterlitamak, located in the Republic of Bashkortostan, Russian Federation.
In Sterlitamak, Bashkortostan—one of the centers of the Russian Federation’s chemical and petrochemical industries—an attack was recorded on facilities that may be linked to the production of components for military equipment.
Also last night, the temporarily occupied Crimean Peninsula came under a massive drone strike.
